After your GP referral is received, our admin team will send a text message to you with an intake form link within a week. Once you complete the intake forms, you will be contacted by email or phone within a week, to organise your initial appointment. After scheduling, the deposit of $200 will be taken out from your given account. Your appointment is then confirmed. 

You cannot make the booking online if you haven't had any previous appointment at Royal Rose Healthcare. The online bookings are only for existing patients. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please email the clinic that you want to make the appointment. 

The payments/fees will be charged from the credit card on file at the same day of your appointment. You might receive a sms message asking for payment authorisation depending on the types of your appointment. 

We will require an approval letter with funding and payer details before your appointment date. We will then email the invoice as per the information provided in the letter. For some reason, if the invoice is not paid by 3rd party funding, the consultation fees will be charged to your account with medical rebate. 

We do not have capacity to provide care under Worksafe funding and referrals related to current court proceedings. If this information is not disclosed upfront and a referral is initially accepted, we may unfortunately need to reject it later upon discovery.

We do NOT have card machine or accept cash payment options at the clinic. You might need to pay online for the appointment in advance if you do not fill in your card details on the intake form. 

If you cancel or non-attendance or reschedule your appointment within less than 2 business days' notice of your planned appointment, a full fee will be charged to your account and no medicare rebate is eligible for this payment. 

We understand not everything is predictable. In this case of urgent health related reason, you can contact the clinic for rescheduling as early as you can and please provide a medical certificate to avoid being charged with full fees of the appointment. 

You will need to see the doctor to get the prescription. With some exceptions, if the script is provided without appointment, each script will be charged with $30 (not each medication).

Example 1
If the psychiatrist charges $450 for weekly psychotherapy session, 

• the patient will receive 85 per cent out-of-hospital rebate of $184.90 until one reaches to the above medicare safety net thredshold. 
• After that, the weekly psychotherapy session with psychiatrist will cost a final out-of-pocket $53.02 (i.e. fees $450- medicare rebate $396.98 = $53.02).
